Overview

The Inca Jungle Trek is an incredible 3-day alternative tour where you can involve your experience in adventure sports such as BIKE, RAFTING, ZIP LINE, TREKING. It also includes some recently discovered Inca trails with archaeological remains.

The hike crosses the Malaga Pass at 4350m and descends into the cloud forest. The trail begins in Santa Teresa, 4:30 hours from Cusco and ends in the town of Aguas Calientes.

The experience is not as popular as the overbooked Inca Trail, but many find it just as beautiful. This hike (also sometimes called Selva Inka), is ideal for travelers looking for alternatives that take them through rural communities and adventures in the Jungle.

The Inca Jungle Trek, the Great Adventure to Machu Picchu is perfect for outdoor lovers, because activities such as: cycling, rafting, zip lining and trekking are carried out with the final destination in Machu Picchu and the sacred Huayna Picchu or Machupicchu. ITEP’s travel guides are experts in the field, with years of experience they know the route well. You are sure to have a fabulous experience with what many of our visitors have nicknamed “The Super Team.”
